About Project
I built Prescripto to solve the recurring friction in discovering verified healthcare specialists and booking medical consultations. The modern full-stack platform bridges the gap between patients and clinics by providing real-time doctor discovery filtered by medical specialities, consultation fees, and clinical credentials.
For patients, I implemented an interactive booking workflow that dynamically calculates 30-minute consultation slots across a rolling seven-day schedule. Users can book appointments, pay securely online through Razorpay, review upcoming visits, update their medical profiles, and cancel bookings with automated schedule restoration.
To streamline clinic administration, I engineered dedicated portals for doctors and administrators. Doctors can track revenue earnings, inspect patient records, toggle their availability, and complete appointments. Concurrently, administrators hold centralized oversight to onboard certified practitioners and monitor overall platform analytics.
Under the hood, I architected a secure, modular Express and MongoDB backend, implementing role-based JWT authentication and managing cloud media with Multer and Cloudinary. The final product delivers a fast, responsive, and accessible digital healthcare solution crafted for modern real-world clinical workflows.
Challenges
